Casa Maria and Newman Center are teaming up to make a leadership training institute
as part of Newman Center’s alternative spring break.
The week of trainig will be from March 13th to 17th of 2010, during which we will read the
book: GUADALUPE. Mother of the New Creation by Virgil Elizondo.

We’d like to invite anybody to attend any of the sessions.

    Huge thanks to Fox Valley
Mission Group, a non-profit
organization that provides volunteer
opportunities. Members attend St
Mark’s Catholic Church in Oro
Valley and are snowbirds who reside
in the Dove Mountain Area and they
are in charge of the "Casa Maria
Renovation Project"

According to the organization's motto,
“to be the greatest, be a servant”
(Matthew 23:11), Mike Cook, Paul
Stern, Steve Lamers,
Geroge Alle, Carl Boucher and others, made huge restoration work and installation of
windows and furniture. They did all this with great professionalism, including a paint job,
which shows their faith and charity to help those in need.

Also we would like to thank all University of Arizona student volunteers, like Lori
Murrieta, Marcela Mora and others, that helped in this project.

  God Bless them.
